With the Ponte Boro RDTA disassembled, it’s time to install your coils. Begin by cutting your coil wire to the desired length, usually around 5-7 wraps, depending on your build preference and resistance requirements. Place the coils into the deck’s posts, ensuring they are securely fastened. Use the screwdriver to tighten the screws gently but firmly, making sure the coils are positioned correctly for optimal airflow.
After securing the coils, it’s crucial to check their alignment and spacing. You want to ensure the coils are centered within the airflow holes for the best performance. Once everything looks good, use a multimeter to check the resistance of your build before proceeding to the cotton installation.
Wicking and Final Assembly
Now that your coils are installed and tested, it’s time to wick them properly. Cut a piece of cotton about the same width as the coil and thread it through. The cotton should be snug but not overly tight, allowing for proper juice flow without restricting airflow. Trim the ends of the cotton to about the height of the deck, ensuring it fits comfortably without spilling over.
Once you’ve wicked the coils, reassemble the Ponte Boro RDTA. Carefully put the deck back into the tank and secure the top cap. Fill the tank with your favorite e-liquid through the fill port, ensuring not to overfill. Allow the cotton to saturate for a few minutes before taking your first puff, and enjoy the unique vaping experience provided by the Ponte Boro RDTA.
