Before diving into the installation of the Alien RBA By EVL RBA Bridge, it’s essential to gather all the necessary tools and materials. You will need the Alien RBA itself, the EVL RBA Bridge, a screwdriver, and some high-quality cotton and wire for building your coils. Make sure you have a clean work area to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Additionally, it’s advisable to read through the manufacturer’s instructions thoroughly. Familiarizing yourself with the components and understanding how the Alien RBA integrates with the EVL RBA Bridge will make the process more straightforward and enjoyable.
Installing the RBA Bridge
Start by carefully disassembling your device to access the deck area where the RBA will be installed. Ensure that your device is powered off to prevent any accidental short circuits. Once you have access to the deck, locate the mounting points for the EVL RBA Bridge.
Next, align the RBA Bridge with the mounting points. Use the screwdriver to secure it in place gently. Be cautious not to overtighten the screws, as this can damage the components. After securing the bridge, ensure that it sits flush against the base to guarantee proper connection and airflow.
Building the Coils
With the RBA Bridge installed, it’s time to build your coils. Cut a length of wire based on the resistance you desire, typically around 5-6 wraps for a standard build. Insert the wire into the appropriate posts on the deck, ensuring that the ends are securely fastened.
Once your coils are in place, trim any excess wire and position the cotton wick through the coils. Make sure the wick is snug but not overly tight, as this can impede the flow of e-liquid. After wicking, saturate the cotton with e-liquid to prepare it for use. This step is crucial to avoid dry hits when you fire up your device.
